About this service
EPC2C is a MEES compliance planning tool operated by GoGreen Alliance Ltd (Company No: 10365619), registered at 4 Shaw Park Business Village, Shaw Road, Wolverhampton WV10 9LE.
EPC2C is provided as a planning and information tool. It is not a regulated service, legal advice, or certified energy assessment. Use of this service is at your own discretion.
Not an official EPC
EPC2C is not an official Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and does not constitute a domestic energy assessment.
The compliance planning tool uses data from the government EPC register and GoGreen Alliance’s retrofit experience to produce planning-level estimates. These estimates are not certified RdSAP calculations and cannot be used as evidence of an EPC rating for MEES compliance purposes.
To confirm any EPC rating for regulatory purposes, a new official EPC must be lodged by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) following completion of any improvements.

Nothing on EPC2C constitutes legal advice. The information about MEES regulations, exemptions, and compliance obligations is provided for general information only. Landlords should seek independent legal advice if they are uncertain about their specific obligations.
MEES legislation and government guidance may change. EPC2C attempts to reflect current regulations but cannot guarantee that all information is current at the time of your use.
Estimates are indicative only
Cost estimates, EPC band uplift projections, and compliance pathway suggestions provided by EPC2C are indicative planning-level estimates only. They are based on:
- Data from the government EPC register (accuracy dependent on the lodged EPC)
- GoGreen Alliance’s experience with West Midlands installation costs
- A simplified SAP sequential subtraction methodology
Actual costs and outcomes will vary based on property condition, contractor pricing, material costs, and site-specific factors. EPC2C accepts no liability for any losses arising from reliance on cost or band uplift estimates.
The Verified Compliance Survey (Tier 3) produces higher-confidence estimates based on actual measured property dimensions, but these remain estimates until a lodged EPC confirms the rating.
Payment terms
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices may be updated without prior notice.
- Compliance Plan (£19.99): Access to the interactive tool and downloadable planning PDF for a single property search session.
- Verified Compliance Survey (from £149): A DEA site visit and compliance report. Pricing depends on property type and location. You will be contacted to confirm price before the survey is booked.
Refund policy
Due to the digital nature of the Compliance Plan, we are unable to offer refunds once the compliance plan has been accessed or downloaded. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access, contact hello@epc2c.co.uk within 48 hours of purchase.
For Verified Compliance Surveys, cancellations requested more than 48 hours before the scheduled survey date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the survey cost.
Intellectual property
All content on EPC2C, including the compliance methodology, cost models, and tool design, is the intellectual property of GoGreen Alliance Ltd. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the service without written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoGreen Alliance Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Reliance on cost estimates, band uplift projections, or compliance pathway suggestions
- MEES enforcement action, penalties, or fines
- Errors or omissions in government EPC register data
- Any interruption or unavailability of the service
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of EPC2C after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
